A Visit to an Exhibition
Last month, our class teacher took us to a science exhibition arranged by a local school. It was divided into four sections-physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. First of all, we went to the physics section. Here we saw different pictures, charts, models, and experiments on display. We felt greatly interested in the working of an electric call bell that produced an amusing sound. Next, we moved to the chemistry section, with chemicals. What interested me most here was cold fire. The girl was mainly concerned conducting the experiment poured some liquid on the palm of her hand and set it on fire. Although I could see the fire, yet the girl’s hand remained unburnt. Then we moved to the botany section. An interesting feature of the section was an experiment which showed that some plants are very sensitive to touch. Our next visit was to the zoology section. Among other things, it showed how blood circulates in the human body. Our visit to the exhibition proved to be informative as well as entertaining.
